BANDAI TCG+: event registration and waiting lists
On this page
In BANDAI TCG+, applying for a place and being selected are not the same status. After searching for an event and confirming the request, check My Events. In first-come, first-served registrations you can appear as Selected or Waiting List; if selection uses a lottery, you must wait for the result. Check the status before arranging a trip or assuming you have a confirmed place.
Start with the right game and place
Find the event of the game in which you want to participate and check the location. A similar store name or an activity from another TCG may lead you to a wrong registration. Check city, country and date, in addition to the title. If you are looking from Spain, confirm that the filter and the event page correspond to the local event you really want to visit.
Not all activities with the same brand have the same conditions. A learning session, a shop tournament and a special competition may require different preparations. Read the format before applying. Signing up for an activity that does not support your deck does not solve the problem of legality or ensure that the organizer can change your category.
The request flow
The official guide explains the route from Event Search to the selection of dates, request and confirmation of details. Then you can check the result in My Events. The names and positions of the screens may vary with the version of the application, but the final check of your application status remains necessary.
Check the details before confirming. If the screen displays an hour, location or format other than what you expected, correct the choice at that time. A screenshot of a store poster does not replace the registration within the system. The event page and the application must refer to the same activity so that you can then follow its status unambiguously.
Selected and Waiting List
For first-come, first-served events, the official guide indicates that the Selected or Waiting List status is displayed on request. Selected reflects selection in that process; Waiting List indicates wait list. Do not interpret both as identical confirmation of a place. A waiting list may be used to fill vacancies, but it does not guarantee that one will occur.
If you go with friends, each participant must review their own status. The fact that a person gets Selected does not show that the whole group has a place. Before sharing transport, write down who is selected and who is waiting. So you can make a decision based on real records without attributing to the application a group enrollment that you have not made.
Applications by drawing lots
In an event with selection by lottery, applying within the period does not amount to winning a place. The official guide places the communication of the result no later than the day before the event. Check the mechanism described in the event page and re-check My Events when appropriate, without inferring selection from the mere existence of the request.
Prudent planning distinguishes pending application and confirmed selection. If you need to book accommodation in advance, value the conditions of that reservation and the uncertainty that still exists. This guide does not guarantee a result date prior to that communicated by the event. A personal travel plan must be adapted to that real calendar, not to an expectation that all lotteries will be resolved immediately.
Selection, payment and attendance
Being selected does not by itself prove that you have completed any payment or additional requirement of the organizer. Check the event information: entry fee if any, method of payment and attendance procedure. Don't suppose a universal mode because another store charged on arrival. The app records the application; the specific event defines conditions that you must also meet.
Similarly, a selection does not replace any attendance check that the organiser requests. Confirm how and when to present yourself and what identification or account you need. Write those instructions next to the status, especially if the event requires a separate step. Arriving with an old Selected screenshot may not prove that you completed all the current conditions.
The event page as a preparation list
Extract five details from the event page: date and time, location, format, selection mechanism and additional instructions. Then consult the game to prepare a legal deck in that format. If the organizer asks for a list, check how to deliver it and when. Do not make up a deadline based on another tournament that also used TCG+.
For a first event, do this review before looking for missing cards. Buying a piece for a different modality can create a useless expense. Registration helps identify where to play; it does not validate each card in your deck. The preparation of legality, materials and accounts remains a participant's task.
Timetables and travel from Spain
If you consult an event in another country or an international activity, confirm which time zone is used in the organizer's event page and communication. Do not convert the time by guesswork. Within Spain, it is also important to distinguish opening, registration and round-start times when these are shown separately. Arriving for the first round may be late for advance registration.
Check the full address and access to the venue. An establishment name can identify several locations. Save the event page and a way to check the account during travel. These measures do not promise access to a waitlisted applicant; they serve to ensure that a real selection is not lost due to confusion about the venue or schedule.
If you can no longer attend
See the option and the cancellation or withdrawal procedure that appear in your registration and the instructions of the organizer. Don't just delete a screenshot from your phone and suppose you released the place. The change must be reflected in the system or channel indicated by the event. Avoid assigning a universal deadline to all tournaments.
Withdrawal in advance when possible helps to manage places, but also does not guarantee that a specific person is selected from the waiting list. The replacement mechanism belongs to the event. If your goal is to know if a friend can take your place, confirm its rules; a selected place is not automatically a transferable entry between accounts.
When the status seems inconsistent
Check that you are in the correct account and event before concluding that the application disappeared. Compare the identifier, date and game. If the problem continues, collect that data and consult the help channel or organizer according to the incidence. Do not share passwords or try to access another person's account to verify a place.
A helpful query says what event you looked for, when you requested, and what status appears now. If you attach an image, hide data that is not necessary. This description makes it possible to distinguish a search problem, a pending request and a selection that requires additional confirmation. A message "the app doesn't work" offers much less information to resolve your involvement.
Prepare two plans according to application status
If My Events shows Selected, check the store's attendance details: time, payment, on-site check-in and required materials. Save the event reference so you cannot confuse it with another session at the same venue. Arriving at the time scheduled for a different tournament can undermine an otherwise correct selection. The app handles the application, but the organiser's specific instructions remain part of preparation.
If it shows Waiting List, prepare an alternative before travelling. Ask how the store communicates vacancies and when to recheck, without treating the waiting list as a confirmed place. For a long journey, decide what you would do if no place becomes available: attend another suitable activity or cancel before incurring unwanted costs. Do not invent admission probabilities from the participant count displayed.
After a lottery, check the result within the stated timetable and retain the confirmation provided. A successfully submitted application does not prove selection. If the app status and store information disagree, provide the event reference, consultation time and a description of the problem. That helps clarify your particular place without extending another event's payment or cancellation rules to every tournament.
Frequently asked questions
Does Waiting List mean I have a place?
No. It means you're on a waiting list. Check if the status changes and what selection mechanism the event sets.
Where do I review the outcome of my application?
The official guide directs you to My Events. Check the particular event page and the status of your own account.
Does Selected mean payment and check-in are complete?
Don't take it for granted. Review the payment and attendance requirements and procedure communicated by the organiser.
