The Great Hunny Rescue is a cooperative Disney Lorcana box for solo play or a journey with a friend. Before buying a used copy, request a component inventory. A photo of the player decks does not establish that the scenario is complete. The official product page lists availability from 2 October 2026.

Compare the component groups

The official contents distinguish the following groups. Calling everything “Lorcana cards” obscures pieces with different functions.

Encounter cards belong to the scenario's progression. A similarly sized player-deck card is not an assumed replacement for a missing Encounter.

Request evidence that supports counting

Ask for an overview and separate photos of each group. A fan of cards displays artwork but may hide omissions or duplicates. For an inventory, rows that permit counting and identifying the cards are more useful.

Ask whether the seller has changed either player deck. “Contains sixty cards” does not mean “retains the original composition.” A substitution may suit a particular way of playing, but it must be disclosed if you want the original complete product.

Record components as present, absent or not yet checked. Do not turn an unanswered question into confirmation. An incomplete box might be an acceptable purchase if you knowingly accept what is missing; it is a different offer from a complete box.

Separate playing needs from collecting needs

A player needs to establish whether the received materials and rules support the advertised experience. A collector seeking completeness may also care about internal boxes, prizes and presentation. Decide your goal before negotiating a price.

Consider two hypothetical listings. One declares opened prizes and a worn outer box but documents every scenario component. Another shows pristine packaging and player cards but does not identify the Encounters. The prettier photo does not settle the comparison; the listings have different unanswered questions.

An opened prize pack is not automatically a missing item. Ask whether its cards are included and whether their identities match. Equally, a sealed-looking player deck does not verify all the other components.

Inventory checks are not scenario rulings

Use this checklist to assess the product, not to determine every victory condition. When setting up a game, use this scenario's included rules and component text. Do not copy the procedure from Deep Trouble or Palace Heist without checking.

For a box without instructions, establish how you will obtain the correct official rules before paying. A seller's informal explanation does not document every exception. Record the complete product name and edition language.

This guide's cover is an editorial inventory diagram. It does not reproduce official contents or authenticate a card, finish or third-party listing condition.

Close the purchase with a clear record

Check the stated language, component condition and total delivered price. For a purchase from Spain, a US product-page price does not establish a Spanish delivered price: market and delivery terms may differ.

Ask the seller to define “complete” by confirming the component groups and modifications. Save that confirmation with the original photos. If something is missing on arrival, you can describe the particular discrepancy rather than dispute an ambiguous adjective.

Repeat the inventory when opening the parcel, before mixing the cards with your collection. Keep player and scenario cards separate, note discrepancies and photograph the received groups. Once the comparison is recorded, organise and sleeve them as you prefer.

Frequently asked questions

Do photos of both player decks prove the box is complete?

No. Check the remaining inventory rather than infer its presence from partial photos.

Is a modified box necessarily unusable?

No. The issue is buying it as an original complete product without knowing its changes. Assess each modification against your goal and the applicable rules.

Does the release date guarantee local shop stock?

No. Confirm availability of the specific edition with the retailer before buying or reserving it.
