Riftbound Radiance October 2026 release and products
On this page
Riftbound Radiance is scheduled to release on 23 October 2026 in English, French and Chinese, with Pre-Rifts from 16 to 22 October. As of 3 October, preview season is underway, but the announced Ultimate Rare reveal and complete Showdown deck lists are still pending.
The dates below follow Riot's 25 September Radiance overview and preview-season announcement. Use this dated guide to distinguish confirmed products from future reveals, and official merchandising availability from the stock of an individual shop in Spain.
The current October calendar
Radiance previews began on 25 September and are scheduled through 9 October. The overview names additional updates on 5 October and 16 October. Those future updates should not be treated as already published card lists on the date of this article.
| Item | Announced date or period | Status on 3 October |
|---|---|---|
| Preview season | 25 September–9 October | In progress |
| Riot Merch drawing registration | 25–30 September | Closed |
| Drawing selection begins | 5 October | Upcoming |
| Pre-Rifts | 16–22 October | Upcoming |
| Complete Showdown deck-list reveal | 16 October | Pending |
| Radiance release | 23 October | Upcoming |
The current Pre-Rift period is 16–22 October. If an older calendar gives another range, compare its publication date with the September overview before using it to plan an event. A product roadmap and a later launch overview can differ.
The overall event period is not a confirmed booking at every Spanish store. Ask the actual organiser for its date, language, entry arrangement and available places. A worldwide announcement identifies the programme; the local event listing identifies where you can attend.
Booster Displays and the card pool
Riot's product drawing FAQ describes a Radiance Booster Display containing twenty-four packs with fourteen cards per pack. The same FAQ describes a pool of 180 cards and 66 Showcase cards.
Those figures answer different questions. Pack and card counts describe the physical product. Pool counts describe designs or entries to collect. A display containing many cards does not guarantee that it contains every card in the pool, or a particular Showcase printing.
Before comparing a sealed offer, establish whether the seller means a display, individual packs or another product. A photograph of a display beside loose packs can make a broad title ambiguous. Match the actual unit and language before comparing the total cost.
For a collection checklist, keep ordinary card identity and special printing identity separate. A playable copy can satisfy a deck need while still leaving a Showcase collecting goal unfilled. The final gallery is the place to confirm the exact entry rather than deriving missing cards from a promotional count alone.
The Seraphine and Evelynn Showdown product
The product FAQ describes the Radiance Showdown offering as two preconstructed decks, one featuring Evelynn and one featuring Seraphine, with fifty-six cards per deck. It also lists two paper playmats and a rulebook.
Do not convert that product count into a claim that every Riftbound Main Deck contains fifty-six cards. A preconstructed product includes the pieces described for its contents, and those product totals must be distinguished from the game's separate deck-building requirements.
The overview schedules full deck lists for 16 October. Until those lists are published, a previewed Champion or pictured card does not establish the quantity of every card in either deck. Avoid completing a purchasing checklist from assumed inclusions.
For a beginner, the preconstructed format answers a different need from a booster display: it supplies the announced prepared decks rather than a random collection of packs. For an established player, the complete deck list will be the useful comparison against cards already owned.
Vault storage and Pre-Rift materials
The overview describes the Vault as a storage product with six boosters, foil Tokens and thirty-six Runes. Check the actual product description when ordering, particularly the language and the physical contents included in the version offered.
A storage accessory and a ready-to-play deck are different products even when both contain game pieces. The Vault's boosters do not make it equivalent to the Showdown decks. Choose the product according to the task you want it to fulfil.
The Pre-Rift kit description includes five boosters and a seeded pack associated with one of the new Legends. Do not read a reference to the nine Legends as nine seeded packs inside one participant's kit. The local organiser's event information should explain the actual kit and event procedure.
The overview also mentions a Heimerdinger Academy Instructor promotion while supplies last. That condition matters. It is not a promise that every shop in Spain has unlimited copies or that any purchase from any seller includes the promotion.
New mechanics announced for Radiance
The overview introduces Deploy for Gear played to a battlefield, with consequences when the opponent holds that battlefield. Keep the announced “holds” condition distinct from casually saying that any movement or momentary contest immediately destroys the Gear.
Show Off involves revealing a qualifying card from hand or board to support the relevant played card's effect. Disarm concerns an opposing unit's Might in the attacking context. The individual card text and updated rules will determine the precise application in actual sequences.
These are launch descriptions, not a substitute for the next rules document. A short promotional explanation does not settle every timing, stacking or targeting interaction. When building a deck after release, use the current card and comprehensive rules together.
The overview also describes Equipment interacting with Orianna and introduces Bomb tokens. Avoid supplying numerical Bomb effects or an automatic universal Orianna sequence without the exact revealed text. Naming an announced mechanic is different from publishing a verified full ruling for every card that uses it.
Special rarities and pending reveals
Radiance includes special collectible treatments, and the overview schedules the Ultimate Rare reveal for 5 October. As of this article's 3 October date, the identity scheduled for that future reveal should not be presented as confirmed here.
An advertised rarity category does not guarantee a hit in one display. Likewise, a design count does not disclose total print supply. Keep the collector checklist separate from assumptions about pack outcomes or resale prices.
If collecting a particular character or treatment, wait for the relevant gallery entry before treating it as a completed purchase target. Record the full card identity, language and variant. A preview image can establish that a design was shown without proving every product in which its printing will be available.
The Riot Merch drawing is already closed
The registration period ran from 25 to 30 September. On 3 October, it is not still an open sign-up opportunity. The next announced stage is selection beginning on 5 October for those who registered through the official process.
The FAQ describes a twenty-four-hour purchase window for selected participants. Selection is an opportunity to purchase under that process, not an automatic shipped order. If you registered, check the official instructions and the actual notification rather than assuming a card charge or reservation already exists.
For reference, the FAQ lists €127.99 for the display and €36.99 for Showdown, with shipping and handling additional. These are the official Riot Merch figures checked for this dated guide. They are not guaranteed Spanish shop prices or an all-inclusive delivered quote.
Compare a Spanish offer using confirmed information
Keep the seller's confirmation and the dated product description together. If the offer changes after a later reveal, those records help distinguish what was actually ordered from an assumption based on a preview image or an incomplete checklist.
Match the product, language, contents and seller's stated release or delivery arrangement. A shop preorder, a local event reservation and the closed Riot Merch drawing are different purchasing routes. Availability in one does not prove availability in another.
Use the official dates to check the description, then use the seller's own terms for the order you are considering. Do not infer a confirmed delivery day from the worldwide release date. Shipping, allocation and collection arrangements must come from the actual offer.
Recheck the official overview after the announced 5 October and 16 October updates for the pending card and deck-list information. A dated guide remains useful when it clearly identifies what was known at publication and what needs the later official reveal.
