Homeworlds has an announced release date, but that does not guarantee every retailer has every product. Fantasy Flight Games' 25 September 2026 notice describes global Carbonite delays and regional differences. For a purchase from Spain, confirm the particular product and availability with the seller.

What the notice establishes

The announced general dates are 2 October for prerelease and 9 October 2026 for release. The notice warns that many retailers may have limited or no Carbonite for those dates. Australia and New Zealand have a specific change to 15 October prerelease and 16 October release.

Spain is absent from the notice's territory list. That absence does not establish stock because the global Carbonite warning is broader. As reviewed on 13 October 2026, this guide has not checked Spanish shop inventories or a shared replenishment date for them.

Do not use a general date as proof of availability or apply another territory's change to your shop without confirmation. Announced launch, distribution conditions and the seller's actual receipt are different questions.

Standard and Carbonite are different order references

Use the complete product name when checking an order. A shop saying “Homeworlds available” may mean a different reference from the one you reserved. Matching the expansion name alone is insufficient.

Record product type, language, quantity and special offer conditions. If offered a substitute, check what changes before accepting. A replacement does not automatically meet your original collecting or opening goal.

QuestionA useful answer
Which product is reserved?Complete name and order reference
Has it physically arrived?Confirmation of that reference, not just the set
Is stock assigned to my order?Confirmed quantity and any outstanding portion
When will it ship?A date or clearly identified estimate
What if it does not arrive?Options and conditions stated by the seller

This is a proposed enquiry checklist, not a universal contractual rule or a description of every distributor's systems.

Separate announcement, allocation and dispatch

A promotion can announce a set before merchandise reaches the shop. A reservation records interest or an order under its conditions, but does not necessarily establish receipt. Confirmed allocation is also different from a dispatched parcel.

Ask communications to identify the stage actually being described. “We expect it” is a forecast; “these units arrived and one is assigned to your order” is a more specific confirmation. Retain dated messages.

For example, a hypothetical shop has Standard products and awaits Carbonite. A photo of Standard boxes does not verify your Carbonite order. The photo may be accurate while documenting the wrong reference.

A concise reservation enquiry

Adapt this to real details: “My order [reference] is for Homeworlds [product, language and quantity]. Has it arrived and been assigned to my order, or is it pending? Is the stated date confirmed or estimated? What options do your terms provide for keeping, changing or cancelling the reservation?”

Do not insert invented references or dates. Identify separate orders individually. A generic enquiry about “the packs” may lead to an equally generic answer rather than verification of your purchase.

If the reply contains only a date, ask whether it means expected receipt, preparation or estimated delivery. These are not necessarily the same day. For shipping, retain tracking associated with the actual parcel.

Decide against the original goal

An event, opening for enjoyment and acquiring a specific card can call for different solutions. Do not automatically replace one box with another merely because it is available sooner.

For missing cards, assess offers identifying those cards, versions and condition. For a particular opening experience, another reference may not be equivalent. With a deadline, check the practical margin before continuing to wait.

Do not infer compensation or a specific legal entitlement from the manufacturer's announcement alone. Review your transaction terms and seller information. This guide supplies no uniform legal outcome for an unexamined order.

Do not price urgency from an unsupported claim

Delays may prompt scarcity language in listings. Separate the official notice from stock demonstrated by the individual offer. This guide contains neither a verified Spanish availability count nor a future-price forecast.

Compare identical references, languages and product conditions with shipping included. An in-stock claim requires its own dispatch terms. An expected replenishment is not inventory already received.

One shop receiving boxes does not establish a market-wide end to delays. Keep product and territory attached to any update you share rather than turning one delivery into a general date.

What should be updated later

This is intentionally time-sensitive content. Review it when a later official announcement appears. A useful update identifies affected product and territory, confirmed dates and remaining uncertainty.

On receipt, photograph and compare the product with your order before opening. If the reference differs, document it and contact the seller. Opening without checking may complicate explaining what arrived.

Frequently asked questions

Does Spain's absence from the list prove no Carbonite delay?

No. It neither confirms individual stock nor removes the wider warning.

Does a reservation prove a box has been set aside for me?

Check the seller's stated status. Reservation, receipt and allocation should be confirmed separately.

Is there a common replenishment date for every Spanish shop?

This guide has no verified common date. Check the product and distinguish estimates from confirmations.
